Saudi Arabia will host the second Asian Lacrosse Games, featuring Senior Men’s and Women’s Sixes divisions. This tournament highlights the growing popularity of the Sixes format as the region aligns with the Olympic vision for lacrosse.
New Zealand will host the Asia-Pacific Men’s Lacrosse Championship, which will also serve as a World Championship qualifier. This marks New Zealand’s third time hosting an APLU event, following the 2007 and 2011 championship.
Korea and New Zealand, both founding members of the APLU since 2004, have played pivotal roles in the development of lacrosse in the region. Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Asian Lacrosse Games signifies a significant step in expanding the sport into new territories.
The Asia-Pacific Lacrosse Union remains committed to providing competitive opportunities and fostering the growth of lacrosse across the region.
